Duplicating High-Definition programs burned on my Casablanca onto a Blu-ray DVDYou can, of course, use your Bogart enabled Casablanca to burn additional copies of your HD program material -- assuming you have the Bogart OS version coupled with the Arabesk 4 version and the Blu-ray drive installed. With the increase of Blu-ray burned programs, there is the question about how to duplicate these titles. You cannot burn Blu-ray titled on a standard DVD duplicator/tower. You must burn additional copies of your Blu-ray (HD) title on a Blu-ray duplicator. Not only are the drives more expensive (than their DVD - standard definition counterparts) but the controllers are also set-up differently. Blu-ray Duplicators are running about three times more expensive than their SD counterparts. Another option is to seek a provider who will provide Blu-ray duplication for you. By keeping this service yourself, you avoid the client having to go elsewhere for this one duplication and then risk losing your other production work going to this/a different provider as well. My DVD provider, CAM Audio, is one such company. Please contact Seth Hampton at CAM Audio for pricing and information on duplication for your Blu-ray (and even SD) DVD projects. Seth can be reached via phone at 800-527-3458 and via email at seth@camaudio.com |
