MSUS Software Activation Cautions for Bogart OS Editors - March 2011
Today MacroSystem US released their March 2011 eMail Newsletter and I shared that I was excited that the Bogart V4 OS was entering the testing phase for us in North America (read that post here on the Casablanca Expert Blog).
I should also like to share the mention made in this same newsletter where MSUS advised customers as to which software is _not_ presently compatible with the Bogart series of Casablanca video editors. I believe this is very important as I occasionally come across colleagues who have software installed on their Bogart OS editors that is not yet been certified ready for use in the Bogart OS. Here is the information from MacroSystem US: For those running a Bogart OS make sure not to activate: -Arabesk 1, 2, or 3 (any version) only use Arabesk 4 with the Bogart OS -Card Drive software -PC Link -SmartEdit software versions -HD Backup software versions for any SE models (i.e Solitaire, Prestige, Renommee) -Akaba -CBPaint 1 & 2 -Columbus 1 & 2 (You must upgrade to version 3 for the Bogart OS) -DeluxeTitler v1 (You must upgrade to version 2 for the Bogart OS) -MotionPerfect - (You must upgrade to Twixtor for the Bogart OS) -PhotoStudio 1 - (You must upgrade to version 2 for the Bogart OS) -PIPStudio - must use PIP Studio 2 with the Bogart OS -PIP Studio 3D Additional Note: -MagicLights 1 works for SD ONLY (you can upgrade to version 2 forHD) -Motion3D Packs 1 & 2 works for SD ONLY (you can upgrade to the Motion3D-XL versions for HD) -DiskTransfer works for SD ONLY -ElasticDreams works for SD ONLY |
