A Casablanca Colleague & website member recently posted on the Cassie Tips List that he was frustrated at the difficulty of having to power down his S4000 editor to get the DVD drawer open. He was musing the methods of opening up the hardware himself to see if he could access the DVD open button, but provided the following caution:
"If you do something
that causes the mystic smoke to escape, the device no longer works. (I
don't think you'll find this concise explanation anywhere on Chet's
site)"
So I thought I would take this opportunity to go one step further than his explanation - as they say a picture is worth a thousand words...
